Definition: to fill a container until it is full.
(This verb has more than one meaning)

E.g.1. Oh no! I’ve filled the bath up with cold water!
E.g.2.  She stopped at the petrol station to fill the car up. [ie. to fill up the petrol tank with petrol]

This phrasal verb can be separated.
