dress up

Definition: to wear smarter clothes than you usually wear.
(This verb has more than one meaning)

E.g.1. You’re not wearing those old jeans to the interview, are you? You need to dress yourself up!
E.g.2. I love dressing up and going out to restaurants or the theatre.

This phrasal verb can be separated by a reflexive pronoun. (myself, yourself etc.)
